Debut delight for Mellon Jr

Latics triumphed 1-0 at Cambridge United
Debut boy Michael Mellon scored Latics' winner for his manager and dad Micky as they sunk Cambridge.
Mellon, snapped up on loan from Burnley during the week, grabbed what proved to be the match-winner in the 21st minute.
Luke Hannant played in Jamie Robson, who pulled the ball back for Mellon to stroke home.
The U's were almost level a minute before the break when goalkeeper Matt Hudson flapped at Sullay Kaikai's corner, but he was able to get up to block Kell Watts' blast.
Nine minutes after the restart Louis Appéré led a fast break and then ran onto Kaikai's return pass, only to be denied by a goal line clearance by Hannant.
Latics gaffer Mellon was booked for complaints to officials before his side almost made the game, Jake Eastwood tipping over Tom Conlon's freekick.
Mellon Sr said after the game: "We knew he (Michael) was the one we wanted to complement what we already had because he has the qualities that we need, and I'm delighted that he did what he did today."
