Dual-reg prop pair Gavin Bennion and Levy Nzoungou made big impacts as Oldham RLFC completed their pre-season programme with a 52-6 trouncing of Keighley Cougars at the Vestacare Stadium.
The Salford Red Devils duo added even more size and weight to an already big Oldham pack which trampled all over the brave, but lighter, Cougars forwards.
Roughyeds gave an accomplished, all-round performance in which they scored nine tries on their return to Oldham after playing out of town at Stalybridge for the past two years.
Hooker Matty Wilkinson created two tries and was a worthy man of the match.
Playing for the first time on the Vestacare Stadium's new artificial pitch, they scored tries by Dave Hewitt (2), Danny Rasool (2), Zak McComb, Steven Nield, Nzoungou, Phil Joy and Danny Bridge, while Paul Crook landed eight conversions from nine attempts.
