Kenny Hughes (touching down) has sustained an ankle injury
Kenny Hughes, one of Oldham RL Club's three hookers, has sustained an ankle injury in training which could keep him out for a couple of weeks.
He wasn't able to train last night (Tuesday) and he will miss Sunday's home game against London Skolars.
"He did it in training last week . . . that's why he didn't play at Coventry," said Oldham head coach Scott Naylor.
There was better news of prop Jack Spencer (back) and winger Dave Eccleston (knee), who both trained normally and are expected to be available for weekend.
That leaves only two players currently on the casualty list - Hughes and Adam Neal, who hasn't played since he was concussed against Keighley in mid-April.
The boys and girls from Mayfield Primary School, Derker will be involved in a curtain-raiser on Sunday.
Also, scouts from Moorside will be having a bucket collection to raise funds for some of their group who have been selected to go to next year's World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia.
