Naylor facing RFL charge

Date published: 30 July 2018

Oldham RL coach Scott Naylor, shown a red card and sent from the touchline for questioning a referee's decision in a Betfred League 1 game against North Wales Crusaders, faces a grade B charge, which carries a recommended sanction of one to two matches.

The citing on the RFL website confirms that the Roughyeds boss is charged with "disputing a decision of referee or touch-judges."

The case will be heard tomorrow (Tuesday) night when the panel will also look at a grade D charge against York City Knights head coach James Ford for "foul and/or abusive language" to a match official in the recent top-of-the-table clash between Bradford and York.

The charge against Ford carries a recommended sanction of three to five matches.
