Roughyeds roar into the League One play-offs

Owen Restall
Two exciting length-of-the-field tries by left-wing Owen Restall proved decisive in Oldham Rugby League Club's 30-18 win against Hunslet, which earned Roughyeds the fifth and final play-off spot in Betfred League One.
Also key was club captain Martyn Ridyard's five-from-five conversions, while Hunslet improved only one of their four tries.
Oldham trailed 0-10 after 10 minutes and 6-10 at half-time, but they scored four tries to two in a thrilling second half and booked their passage into the play-offs, with the second of Restall's 'specials' coming a minute from the end.
