Restall, Spencer and Whittel head Roughyeds' list of appearances

Friday night sees the big ORLFC presentation ‘do’ at the Oldham Event Centre

Owen Restall in the backs and Tom Spencer and Emmerson Whittel in the forwards were joint leaders in Oldham RLFC's list of appearances in the 2022 season.

In 20 Betfred League One games, one Challenge Cup tie and one play-off game – 22 in total – this consistent trio were the only ever-presents.

Spencer has since announced his retirement.

Restall was out on his own on two fronts - as top try scorer by a country mile and as the ONLY player with 22 starts out of 22 - Spencer and Whittel each having had one appearance off the bench.

The statistics are published in the run-up to Friday night’s big ORLFC presentation ‘do’ at the Oldham Event Centre.

It’s always a great night, as those who have been there previously will testify, and for £10 you can mingle with the players, enjoy supper and chat with fellow fans about the season past and about what’s to come in 2023.
