Joe Taira has signed a one-year contract at Oldham
Oldham Rugby League Club has increased its 2023 squad to 26 with the signing of former Rochdale Hornets and Batley Bulldogs forward Joe Taira, a tough prop who was in Fiji's squad for the recent Rugby League World Cup.
Aged 33, Taira has signed a one-year contract at Oldham to become the fourth former Hornets player to join their derby rivals behind Greg McNally, Lewis Sheridan and Zac Baker.
"We are building a good squad based on a nice balance of youth and experience," said Oldham team boss Stu Littler.
