Oldham swoop for Johnson

Oldham-born Johnson will be in contention to make his debut in Sunday’s home game against fifth-placed Workington Town
Oldham Rugby League Club has signed prop Josh Johnson, the former Huddersfield Giants, Hull KR and Salford Red Devils forward, in a deal to the end of next season.
He becomes the new board’s third signing following those of Pat Moran, another forward, and winger or centre Nick Rawsthorne as Oldham, third in Betfred League One, head for the play-offs.
Oldham-born Johnson (28) will be in contention to make his debut in Sunday’s home game against fifth-placed Workington Town.
He left Salford last year to join Widnes in a swop deal that took former Oldham forward Tyler Dupree in the opposite direction.
He has since been at Bradford Bulls.
