In a club shake-up, Lisa Sherratt and Adam Simpson have taken over to fill key roles in new head coach Sean Long’s promotion plans, with Lisa as Head of Medical and Adam as new strength and conditioner
Lisa, who was Oldham’s physio 23 years ago when current managing director Mike Ford was player-coach, returns to the club from her current role as North of England Lead for Swim England.
Adam has previously worked for Featherstone and for Wakefield in Rugby League and for Doncaster Knights in Union where head coach is Joe Ford, Mike’s eldest son.
VX3, a kit manufacturing company based in Paington, will be Oldham’s official kit partner for the next three years.
VX3 stands for ‘Veni, vidi, vici’ – a Latin phrase meaning ‘I came, I saw, I conquered’ – and one of the company’s core aims is wrapped up in that well-known comment.
