Oldham RL, currently third in the Championship at the half-way stage, have confirmed they hope to finish in the top six play-off and that will be their aim in the second half of the season.
Last year's runaway League One winners, promoted to the Championship (tier two) automatically, did not play at the weekend and they don't play again until they meet leaders Toulouse in the south of France on Saturday, June 21 (6pm).
Having strengthened their squad, and without a game for another fortnight, they have temporarily parted company with four forwards.
Adam Lawton has gone to Widnes on short-term loan and Pat Moran, Owen Farnworth and Ben Forster have gone to Rochdale on dual-registration.
A fifth forward, McKenzie Yei, has been away, playing for Rochdale and Hunslet on loan as he recovered from injury, but he has now moved to Dewsbury on loan until the end of the season.
