Amar Manzoor, 42, was sentenced at Bolton Crown Court on Monday 19 October.
Manzoor was convicted of three counts of rape, two of controlling and coercive behaviour, three assaults, one count of non-fatal strangulation, two of perverting the course of justice and one of stalking.
Greater Manchester Police said the offences took place between 2018 and 2025.
The first woman met Manzoor in July 2018 and was subjected to rape, assaults and controlling and coercive behaviour over a prolonged period.
A second woman, who met him in September 2023, was subjected to stalking which caused serious alarm and distress.
A third woman experienced rape, assaults and controlling and coercive behaviour.
Police said Manzoor repeatedly tried to contact the third woman from prison following his arrest for non-fatal strangulation in November 2025.
He tried to pressure her into withdrawing her statement and creating false contact details to avoid detection. She reported the contact to police, leading to further charges of perverting the course of justice.
One survivor said after sentencing, “I didn't live with you, I tried to survive, and now I am merely existing.”
DC Rachel McMahon, from GMP’s Criminal Investigation Department, thanked the three women for supporting the investigation and court proceedings.
She said, “Manzoor manipulated each of these women, took advantage of them and subjected them each to numerous forms of domestic and sexual abuse.”
She added, “Domestic abuse can take many forms and I urge anyone who may be seeing the signs to please come forward and report. You will always be taken seriously, and treated with care.”
