Insulation checks on all homes
A HEAT-SEEKING van has been identifying energy hotspots where savings can be made.
The thermal-imaging van is driving around half the borough at night detecting how much heat is escaping from houses stretching from the Saddleworth North to Chadderton North.
Homes in the rest of the borough will be looked at from November.
The images will be used to identify homes which can benefit from improved insulation.
Saddleworth South councillor John McCann was one of the first local residents to have his home in Wool Road analysed.
