Date published: 14 December 2012
FOUR masked men armed with what was believed to be a machete robbed a pub in Failsworth while customers were still in the bar.
The terrifying incident happened at about 10.15pm on Wednesday at the Woodhouse Gardens Inn, Medlock Road.
The gang threatened staff and customers and made them kneel on the floor before grabbing money from the till and running off.
Two wore light grey tracksuits while the others were dressed in black clothing.
Det-Con Ian Lloyd, from Oldham CID, said: “Although no one was injured but it must have been a terrifying experience.”
