First step in crossing upgrade
Date published: 17 February 2014
BRIGHT new lights have been installed at the crossing where 12-year-old Annalise Holt was killed in Shaw.
Protesters campaigned for change at the Milnrow Road zebra after the tragedy, sparking a borough-wide review of crossing safety from Oldham Council.
This is the first step in a major upgrade process and the new LED lights help to illuminate the area and improve visibility for drivers approaching the crossing.
