Man on nurse murder charge

A MAN has been charged with the murder of a nurse stabbed in Rochdale on Tuesday night.
Miriam Nyazema was found with knife wounds by police in Shawclough Way just after 9pm, following reports that a gunshot had been fired. A BB gun was also retrieved by police.
The 35 year old victim from her wounds.
Josphat Mutekedza (35), of no fixed address, has been charged with murder and section 16 firearms offences and appeared before Manchester magistrates today.
A 45-year-old man arrested at the scene has been released without charge.
