Choirs
More than 250 children take part in choral singing groups at the Music Centre. Groups usually appear in at least three public performances a year. The link below is a video of one such performance given by of the Oldham Youth Choir conducted by Elizabeth Brocklehurst.
Who is it for?
All schoolchildren are welcome to audition.
Most new members join the Junoir Choir and progress to other groups as they develop.

- Junior choir (Yr 3 - 5) Wednesday: 4.15pm-5.15pm
- Boys’ Choir "Vocal Recall" (Yr 6 - 9) Wednesday: 4.15pm - 5.45pm
- Girls’ Choir (Yr 6 - 9) Wednesday: 5.45-7.15pm
- Youth Choir (Yr 10 upwards) Wednesday: 6.00-7.00pm
- The Candymen Wednesday 5.45- 6.00pm
- Music Theatre Thursday 4.30 - 6.30pm
