Police appeal to trace man with bleeding feet

Police in Saddleworth have launched an investigation and are appealing for the public’s help in trying to trace a man seen walking through Uppermill in bare, bleeding feet.

The appeal was posted on Greater Manchester Police Saddleworth Borough’s Facebook page yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) following a report of a man walking through Uppermill.

It’s thought the man could be Eastern European and in his late 20s.

He has also been described as medium build and was wearing a green jumper with short ginger hair.

He was last spotted walking through the village at around 4.50pm.

In a statement on their Facebook page, GMP Saddleworth say: “Saddleworth, eyes peeled pls. 
Just had a report of a male walking through Uppermill towards the viaduct and poss up towards Diggle bare foot and with bleeding feet.

“Eastern European Male aged late 20s med build, green jumper with short ginger hair. Last seen going through village at 4:50pm.

“We do not know any further details at this time and would ask that any sightings are immediately rung through on 101. Thankyou.”
