Yellow Weather warning in place for Oldham

A Yellow Weather Warning is in place
The Met Office have issued a Yellow Weather Warning for major parts of the UK including our region.
The warning will stay in place until 10pm tonight.
Heavy rain is expected throughout the day and into the evening.
A Yellow warning suggests we should look out for the following:
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible
There are no weather warnings in place for the rest of the weekend.
Saturday will be sunny and windy with scattered showers possible. It will feel warm out of the wind, with temperatures rising to around 21C
