WelliFest and the Saddleworth Show will both return this year

Organisers have confirmed that the hugely popular WelliFest music festival and the Saddleworth Show will definitely return this year.

Frank Bolger and Anthony Burke - the Co-Chairs of the Saddleworth Show/WelliFest Committee - confirmed the news in a statement.

They said: "We are delighted that we are able to go ahead with WelliFest, our community music event for all the family, on June, 26, 2021.

"It will be an all-ticket event and tickets are only available on-line at wellifest.com to ensure we can offer all our ticket holders a safe and super event.

"We are also delighted to confirm that the Saddleworth Show, which had been postponed, will now take place on September 19, 2021.

"The show committee decided that given the large numbers, it would be better to move the event to later in the year.

"By September nearly everyone will have been fully vaccinated and most restrictions will have been lifted, meaning the show will be its usual fun-packed day for all the families to enjoy, no matter what age.

"We will have all the planned attractions including Circus Sensible, Sandart, Punch and Judy, One Adventure, Dog Agility and our Fun Dog Show all free to enjoy, plus Country Corner, Donkeystone's Bar and lots of food outlets.

"For all the details please visit our website: saddleworthshow.com

"Both events will take place at our usual venue - Well-i-Hole Farm in Greenfield (OL3 7HY).

"We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors whose donations make it possible to stage this fantastic community event and help us raise funds for local good causes and Rotary charities."
