'Senseless' youths have been slammed by local police after a school bus was trashed at the Oasis Academy on Hollins Road.

A post on the GMP Failsworth and Hollinwood Facebook page read: "On Saturday 04/09/21 just after 2pm, extensive damage was caused to a school bus parked within the grounds of Oasis Academy, Hollins Road, Oldham.

"Youths gained entry to the bus and smashed several windows and damaged fittings inside.

"Not happy with this act of senseless criminal damage they have then shattered the glass on two bus shelters near to the Academy.
