Police appeal for witnesses after motorcyclist dies following collision

A man has died following a collision in Moston last night (Tuesday).
Officers were called at around 11.45pm to a report of a road traffic collision involving one vehicle on Hillier Street.
Emergency services attended and took a 43-year-old man to hospital, where he died shortly after.
The motorcyclist was riding a Lexmoto XTR 125 cc motorcycle and is believed to have travelled west along Princedom Street, at the corner where the road becomes Hillier Street.
Detective Sergeant Marie Eldred, from GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "First and foremost our thoughts remain with the man's family who are understandably upset at the loss of a loved one.
"An investigation into this collision is already underway and we're following up a number of lines of enquiry, but we're keen to hear from anyone who may have information that may be able to assist us.
"Anyone who may have seen anything, has CCTV or has any dash-cam footage from around that area at the time is asked to call 0161 856 4741."
