Woman dies after three pedestrians hit by car

The accident happened on Heddon Road in Droylsden
A woman has died after three pedestrians were hit by a car in Droylsden.
It's understood a man in his 70s lost control of his vehicle on Haddon Hall Road in Droylsden around lunchtime today.
The car collided with three pedestrians.
Emergency services attended but despite the best efforts of paramedics a woman - one of the pedestrians - was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two further female pedestrians have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver has remained at the scene to assist police with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made.
