Spate of thefts from cars in Chadderton prompts police investigation

Police are investigating several incidents regarding in-car thefts on Drury Lane in Chadderton.

Over the past week, a number of vehicles have been broken into and had their possessions stolen.

Police are aware of these incidents and following investigations, are making active arrest enquiries.

A post on the GMP Chadderton Facebook page read: "We advise that members of the public ensure their vehicles are locked when unattended, valuables are taken with you and not left in your vehicle and do not leave valuables on show.

"We are appealing to members of the public with any information about these incidents.

"Anyone with any information, photos, videos, or CCTV footage regarding this incident should contact us on 101 quoting CRI/06QQ/0018807/22."
