Tim Hortons officially opens in Oldham

Iconic Canadian restaurant brand, Tim Hortons®, has today (Monday) officially opened its doors in Oldham, bringing the total number of restaurants open in Greater Manchester to seven.

The new restaurant and drive-thru is now welcoming customers with its famous coffee, freshly baked donuts and delicious meals from 6am till midnight, seven days a week. 

To celebrate the opening of the highly anticipated restaurant located on Manchester Road in Hollinwood, the brand gifted the first drive-thru and restaurant customers with free drinks, every day for a whole year (worth an incredible £3,100).

Tim Hortons also gave away 100 free breakfast meals to the first 100 customers this morning.

Sam Scholes, a local engineer, was this morning’s in-store winner having arrived at 7pm last night to claim his prize, while Roman Wallace (pictured below) was the first drive-thru guest, staying in his car overnight from 7:30pm to win! 

Fans and first timers can now get their hands on its best-selling items, including Timbits®, Iced Capps, Freshly Baked Donuts and Tims® Crispy Chicken Sandwich as well as dinner favourites including cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and lattice fries.

As part of the opening celebrations, guests can try the brand-new Tim Hortons® Cheeseburger range which includes the Tims® Double Cheeseburger, Tims® Bacon Double Cheeseburger and Tims® Triple Cheeseburger, all part of the newly launched £2.99.

Offering everyday value, guests purchasing a medium or large beverage can select any main menu food item for just £2.99.

"We are no strangers to the city, so we’re really excited to be even closer to our loyal customers and the Oldham community.

"We know those yet to experience our everyday value offering and Canadian charm are in for a treat.

“A few guests secured some well-deserved, top prizes this morning, but all is not lost for those that haven’t made it to the restaurant yet.
