Butler Green post office refit will now go ahead in July

There will be a new Postmaster at Butler Green in Chadderton
Plans to modernise the Butler Green Post Office and store in Chadderton with a refit will now take place in July - later than originally planned.
The branch at 1 Butler Green will be temporarily closed from Thursday, July 6 at 5.30pm and it is due to re-open on Tuesday, July 25 at 1pm.
During the interim, alternative branches will include:
· Oxford Street Post Office, 73 Oxford Street, Oldham, OL9 7SL
· Hollins Road Post Office, 730 Hollins Road, Oldham, OL8 4SA
· Lee Street Post Office, 67 Lee Street, Oldham, OL8 1EG
Butler Green Post Office will become a new-style local office with an open-plan counter alongside the retail counter.
The opening hours will remain as Monday to Friday: 9am – 5.30pm; Saturday: 9 – 12.30pm.
There will be a new Postmaster.
