Greengate Trust volunteers held a packing session to support 20 families from local school Horton Mill
Local charity the Greengate Trust are determined to increase their support for local families within Oldham communities.
Most recently, the charity held a packing session to support 20 families from a local school with a range of different parcels.
They included hygiene, food, and activity parcels for the children to utilise over the summer holidays to help sustain the families during the longest break, when they would normally receive help from the school during term time.
Volunteers helped pack the parcels and then they delivered to the school, in time for the summer holidays.
Horton Mill Community Primary School was chosen because some of the Greengate Trust volunteers attended that school and were offered support.
