Police issue witness appeal after 16-year-old boy is robbed and assaulted in Oldham

Police officers have appealed to the public for information after a 16-year-old boy was robbed in Oldham.

On Sunday, December 31, 2023, at around 9:30pm, a personal robbery took place on Featherstall Road North.

Following initial enquiries, it is understood that a 16-year-old boy was walking down Featherstall Road, when unknown to the victim, people demanded the victim’s bag and threatened him.

The victim refused and was subsequently assaulted to the head.

The suspects then fled the scene taking the victim’s bag before he was taken to hospital by officers after calling the police. 

Officers are appealing to the public for any further information and in particular are looking to speak to the four ndividuals in the images above, as officers believe they may have further information regarding this incident that could help with the investigation.
