Scarecrow trail hailed as another big success

The industrious Friends Of Diggle School (FODS) have held another successful Scarecrow Trail this year.

The trail has raised approximately £3,200, which will be invested in special projects and pupil-focused initiatives at the school.

Tracy Buckley, the FODS coodinator, said: "A huge well done to all the winners.

"First prize winners will receive £50 cash prize courtesy of Redrow, second prize winners a £25 Grandpa Greenes voucher courtesy of Grandpa Greene's Luxury Ice Cream and third prize winners will receive an Easter hamper.

“The money will be going towards a big spend this year as we are replacing all the interactive whiteboards in every class in school.

"This will help with all the children’s learning and make lessons more fun and interactive.”
