Police issue witness appeal following Failsworth collision involving woman in her 90s

GMP's SCIU officers are asking for anyone with information to please come forward
Officers from Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for information following a collision between a car and pedestrian on Albert Road West, Failsworth on Wednesday (January 7).
A woman, in her 90s, was struck by a reversing vehicle at around 2pm on Albert Road West.
The woman was transported to hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
The SCIU are asking for anyone with information to please come forward.
This includes anyone who believes they saw the vehicle driving before the collision, witnessed the incident itself, or have dashcam footage or CCTV of the incident.
