This is following concerns from residents that large numbers of young people are gathering and causing issues in the area.
A post on the GMP Failsworth & Hollinwood Facebook page read today (Friday): "Large groups of up to 60 are hanging about in the streets, causing alarm to the local residents.
"Many are drinking or taking drugs, mainly in the form of nitrous oxide, which has then lead to people being rowdy, causing trouble and littering the area.
"Any persons gathering will be asked to leave the area.
"Covid-19 legislation only allows for a group of up to six people from different households to socialise outdoors.
"Robust action will be taken against any young person that attends the area and causes anti-social behaviour.
"Parents - please be aware of where your child is and what they are up to this weekend.
"You may receive a call from the police asking you to pick up your child from the police station."
