Isaan Muythai fighter remains UK number one

On Saturday (8th June) two fighters from Isaan gym in Oldham fought on majestic gym promotion’s ‘rising up 8’ at the DW stadium in Wigan.
12-year old Tommy Lowe from Greenacres and pupil at North Chadderton School fought the talented Mikey Chetham from MFA in Manchester.
The technically fantastic fight, saw Tommy, who is the current number one, win via unanimous decision. This allowed him to keep his top fighter spot in the UK.
21-year old Kieron Hilditch from Oldham had his 2nd C class fight against the talented Alex Jones from Kearsley Thai. The fight was a war from the opening bell, with both fighters exchanging heavy blows.
Hilditch dropped Jones with a heavy body shot in the 4th Round but unfortunately couldn’t find the shot to finish the fight.
Head Coach at Isaan gym, Stephen Donnelly said, “It’s all about the performance, Kieron Hilditch is a phenomenal young talent who took part in a fantastic fight and is developing well and is doing the things we practice in the Gym. I’m a very proud coach.”
