A Mother's Day service with a difference

Mother's Day is this Sunday

There will be a Mother’s Day service with a difference at Greenacres Congregational Church this Sunday.

A popular puppet show - 'No Strings Puppet Ministry' - of Altrincham Methodist Church have been invited to perform three short pieces during the service. 

The shows will be amusing but with a serious message, and will be of interest to both children and adults. 

The motto of the Puppet Ministry is 'Bringing the Bible to life for children of all ages'.

The three pieces are likely to be: Prayer time (a sketch which fits Mothers day); The Wonder of You (Elvis singing to his mother) and My Lighthouse (song).

Children and adults will be encouraged to stay and chat after the service, when coffee/tea/biscuits will be available. 

The service begins at 10.45am.
