Little French Cinema's successful Oldham season continues with adventure drama

The Little French Cinema’s very successful 2023 season is continuing, with films screened as usual in the Performance Space of Oldham Library.

The next film to be shown is on Thursday, September 7, from 7pm.

In partnership with the Alliance Française, the film is Continuer: Keep Going - an adventure drama from 2018, directed by Joachim Lafosse (Cert 15).

Sybille has persuaded her adult son Samuel to come on a trek in the hope of finding a new rapport – but challenges await, as much from their own personalities as from the arduous landscape.

Tickets can be booked in advance for individual films at £4 plus booking fee through eventbrite.co.uk

A limited number of tickets will be available on the door for £5 cash. 

Tea/Coffee and biscuits available from 6.30pm.

Alliance Française members are entitled to two tickets for the price of one.

Meanwhile, the last film of the season will be screened on Thursday, November 2, from 7pm (in partnership with the Alliance Française and TV5).

That will be Le Boucher: The Butcher (a crime drama from 1965).

That film is directed by Claude Chabrol (Cert 15).
