Athletic remain tight-lipped

Athletic owner Abdallah Lemsagam
Athletic have remained tight-lipped over the comings and goings at Boundary Park in recent months despite our article on Friday (November 9) questioning just what is going on behind the scenes at the club.
Ahead of their FA Cup first round tie at Hampton and Richmond Borough this evening (Monday), owner Abdallah Lemsagam has refused to comment on claims of disharmony and being accused by one former player of being a “circus owner”.
Along with our sister publication, Revolution 96.2, we requested an interview with Mr Lemsagam on Friday but the request was, once again, turned down due to the owner being out of the country.
The Chronicle and Revolution News will keep trying to get answers from the club and hopefully secure an interview with Mr Lemsagam as soon as possible.
