Another big step as Latics acquire Oldham Event Centre

The deal to take the Oldham Event Centre under the club's wing went through yesterday
Latics have announced that they have moved a step closer to controlling both the club and Boundary Park after they acquired Oldham Event Centre Limited.
The deal to take the OEC under the club's wing went through yesterday (Wednesday).
A statement on the Latics' club website read: "The Board of Oldham Athletic are pleased to announce that the next step in the process of bringing the club and ground under the control of the club has been successfully completed.
"On 25 October 2022, the club acquired Oldham Event Centre Limited, the company which provides the hospitality in the Joe Royle Stand and also operates the gym in the same stand.
"From now onwards, all matters relating to the day-to-day running of Boundary Park will be in the hands of the club.
"The Board can confirm that the transaction to secure ownership of the ground is on schedule and proceeding satisfactorily."
