Winger Mo Agoro is set to face his former club today
Roughyeds boss Sean Long has named a 25-man squad to take on Keighley Cougars later today (Boxing Day, 1pm kick off).
Winger Mo Agoro is set to face his former club.
Oldham will be putting into practice all what they have been working on over six solid weeks of pre-season training against a strong Cougars side.
All but three of our 2024 squad will be travelling to Cougar Park, with Jamie Ellis, Jumah Sambou and Jay Chapelhow the ones not being risked.
Sixteen players, signed since the conclusion of the 2023 season, are set to play their first minutes in a Roughyeds shirt.
With there being no limit to how many subsitutions each side can make, everybody will get a run-out across the game.
Recently-relegated Keighley have announced a 22-strong team to face Long’s men.
Featuring in the side, coached by Matt Foster, are several new signings including Brandon Pickersgill, Will Maher and Jack Miller.
Oldham squad: Agoro, Aldridge, Astley, T.Chapelhow, Craven, Farnworth, Gallagher, Hirst, Jack Johnson, Josh Johnson, Kopczak, Lawton, Moran, Morgan, O’Keefe, Paga, Rawsthorne, Taylor, J. Turner, M. Turner, C. Tyrer, K. Tyrer, Wardle, Whittel, Wildie.
