Oldham's Ted Chapelhow has penned a new contract that will keep the forward at Boundary Park until the end of the 2025 season.
The 28-year-old prop has been a regular in Sean Long’s side alongside brother Jay this season, and the twins will now both be contracted to the club until the end of next year.
Announcing the news to fans on the club’s Roughyeds TV YouTube channel, Chapelhow says he never had any thoughts about going elsewhere.
“I’m made up to get next year sorted at a place where there is a vision, they are going somewhere and there is an excitement. I feel like I’m at home here," he said.
“As soon as Oldham said they were keen to keep me I wanted to get it sorted. I knew where I wanted to be next year and it was here, so I am buzzing to be here.
“The fans are awesome and I hope they are happy that I have signed another year.
"I’m enjoying it, it seems the fans are enjoying it and we go again!”
Meanwhile, Roughyeds have also confirmed that Haydn Walker has stepped down from the board of directors.
He steps back for personal reasons and to focus on other commitments.
