Recruitment business Travis Hughes, trading as Staff Oldham, has been appointed a Buying Solutions supplier to public sector organisations in the region.
The business, with eight staff, several hundred in placement and based in Yorkshire Street, is working under the non-medical, non-clinical resources framework agreement to supply temporary and fixed-term personnel.
Director Trish Travis, from Denshaw, commented: “We are all really delighted to hear about our success on the Buying Solutions agreement.
“We went through a lengthy and rigorous process involving assessments on every aspect of the business from quality, compliance and price. This news will enable the company to continue to grow and supply temporary work to Oldham people.”
Buying Solutions is the awarding body which offers public sector organisations a cost effective, efficient supplier management process and only the most proficient suppliers qualify and are awarded a place on the framework agreement, added Trish.
Her fellow director Julie Hughes, from Bolton, added: “We will be supplying to Primary Care Trusts, NHS Trusts and councils in the region and placing all types of temporary roles such as administration/clerical, drivers, security, catering, cleaners to finance and payroll staff.”
Established in 1992 as a subsidiary of Travis Hughes Ltd, Staff Oldham, which is developing a new website to its improve image within the recruitment sector, is growing its bank of local work seekers and are looking for experienced clerical/administration, secretarial, finance/accounts, trades people, drivers, stores people and security personnel.
Trish and Julie are hands-on, working directors and have more than 40 years recruitment industry experience.
