Officers have confirmed that they’ve arrested four people
Police in Oldham have reported that they’ve arrested several people following a string of burglaries in recent weeks.
They’ve taken to social media to ask the public for their help as they continue their investigations into the incidents.
Officers, working as part of a joint investigation with their colleagues in West Yorkshire, have now confirmed that they’ve arrested four people.
A statement on Greater Manchester Police Oldham’s Facebook page read: “We are aware of community concern regarding a number of burglaries across Oldham.
"We are currently investigating a number of these offences and are asking the public for their help.
"Last night [Tuesday] four suspects were arrested as a result of a joint operation with West Yorkshire police.
"We continue to pro-actively investigate with a view to making further arrests.
“If you have any information which you feel would help us apprehend offenders or assist in our intelligence profile please contact us on 101 or via crime stoppers.”
