Limeside fatal stabbing: two males charged

Charlie Elms was fatally stabbed last Wednesday in Limeside
Two males have been charged as part of an investigation into the fatal stabbing of a man in Limeside.
Frazer McDonald (aged 19) of Kilton Walk, Manchester and a 17-year-old male who cannot be named for legal reasons have each been charged with one count of violent disorder.
They were both remanded into custody following a court appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court yesterday (Monday).
They are next due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday, June 28, 2021.
Police were called shortly after 5.05pm last Wednesday (May 26) to a report of a disturbance involving a group of men causing damage to a property on Fifth Avenue.
During the disturbance, 25-year-old Charlie Elms was fatally stabbed.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
