Police issue warning after spate of burglaries in Grasscroft

Three burglaries took place inside a 90-minute period in Grasscroft early yesterday

Local police officers issued a warning via social media following recorded incidents of three burglaries taking place within an hour-and-a-half period in the Grasscroft area yesterday morning (Wednesday).

A post on the GMP Saddleworth & Lees Facebook page last night read: "Between 04.30am and 06.00am on 28/02/2024 there have been 3 burglaries to dwellings reported in the Grasscroft area.

"Please be extra vigilant if you live in this area and report any suspicious activity to the Police on 101."
