Cotton Clouds sure to be an app-y festival!
Date published: 23 July 2018
Last year's maiden Cotton Clouds festival sold out well in advance
This year's Cotton Clouds Festival will again provide its attendees with an app, connecting those off to see Sister Sledge and Lightning Seeds in the beautiful Saddleworth surroundings.
Hundreds of people used the application last year, and thanks to its popularity, it's back again for 2018's new two-day fest.
An integrated news feed means attendees can post photos, videos and text, allowing the app to function as the festival's own social media network. Last year, attendees posted hundreds of times, both during and after the weekend's proceedings.
The app will be the easiest place to see the festival line-up, and will feature a 'Favouriting' function so you can make your schedule bespoke.
Don't want to miss The Orielles? Favourite your can't-miss sets and you'll receive a notification 15 minutes in advance of them commencing.
The app has been created in conjunction with London developers Second Screen, who specialise in the live events space, and who are very excited to dance to Sister Sledge this August.
Cotton Clouds takes place at Saddleworth Cricket Club on August 17 and 18.
